The Copenhagen Philharmonic is a treasure and it has always been an honor and privilege to work with the fabulous musicians of this orchestra; I get to travel all over the world working with the top orchestras in Europe and United States and I am always excited about my projects with the Copenhagen Philharmonic. They have been at the forefront of innovation pushing the boundaries artistically, while also being able to attract new audiences to classical music. Denmark should be immensely proud of this incredible institution and it would be a mistake of epic proportions to even consider closing it down. It would be a huge loss, not only for Denmark, but also for the musical world at large.
